Embedded Finance Review (website) was launched by Lars Markull (LinkedIn) at the end of 2022. The main motivation was to provide a content platform focused on the topic of embedded finance. While there was (and is) a lot of content about embedded finance in general, this content tends to be either very US focused or rather theoretical or superficial. I wanted to fill this gap and create content and launch other activities, that helps non-financial companies (focus on Europe) to understand embedded finance and help them do their first steps.
As of today, I publish weekly newsletters, bi-weekly podcasts and host public and private events. You can find details below about my different initiatives and how companies can collaborate with me.
In our weekly newsletter, I summarise the most important embedded finance stories of each week (see here). This started in early 2023 as a monthly newsletter but has evolved to a bi-weekly and since mid 2024 it is a weekly newsletter.
As of February 2025, the newsletter has over 1,400 subscribers, an open rate of ~60% and a click rate between 5-10%.

In June 2024 I launched a bi-weekly podcast where I interview the builders and shapers of embedded finance (see here). Currently, I am focusing on European non-financial brands that talk about their financial product offering. However, I also include stories from other companies and geographies if I believe they have an interesting story to tell.
Each episode is published on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube and a few smaller podcasting apps. Each episode attracts over 100 plays on all platforms (some also more than 200) and the audience is similar to newsletter subscribers.
